While at UF Law, Angela volunteered with a local domestic violence shelter and completed a semester long internship in a specialized domestic violence unit of the State Attorney’s office. Once out of law school, Angela spent part of her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in the 6th Judicial Circuit where she handled both misdemeanor and felony domestic violence cases. Angela has since left the full time practice of law and is currently homeschooling her 3 children. Though no longer a prosecutor, Angela continues to serve the community by advising victims of domestic violence and their family members on a pro bono basis.

Angela Sarabia was a prosecutor on the front lines of the fight against domestic violence.
